Members of the German-American club, except for their mild accents, consider themselves natives. I personally know two of the members. Both have lived here for decades and are completely "Spartanburgized".

I'm also personal friends with a retired public school teacher. She taught German at Dorman High School for many years and even lived in Germany when her husband served in the military. She would be an excellent resource to connect you with the right people here in town.
