There was earlier speculation of some sort of "Super Publix." So perhaps this will be a larger store similar to Kroger Marketplace. And Harris Teeter is also now building larger stores.

I highly doubt it. Publix is not known for doing stores with general merchandise like Walmart and Kroger Marketplace and their has been no announcement of it.

Perhaps no general merchandise but it was previously speculated to be a larger Publix store at one time.

Default Publix, Grand Central at Martin Farms, Simpsonville, South Carolina

I do not see Publix expanding beyond food and pharmacy anytime soon. As its Publix Pix convenience stores and fuel kiosks were not successful, I do not see Publx re-entering fuel sales either.

Yes, images of the site plan were recently in a post in the thread "New development along Harrison Bridge Rd in Simpsonville."

Forgot about that thread...the drawings also answer my question about the size of Publix.
