Phoenix Inn, 246 North Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, South Carolina 29607-2124, located at the southeast corner of North Pleasantburg Drive and Tower Drive in the city of Greenville in Greenville County, South Carolina, has closed for repairs for an undetermined amount of time. Its website says it officially closed Monday, 7 November 2016, at 1400 hours.
Phoenix Inn opened in 1971 as a Thunderbird Motor Lodge. Its main building was burned in a fire in 1975.
It is unknown when Phoenix Inn will reopen as it is undergoing a structural assessment.
