You all are making me hungry! I can't wait to try some of these places.

I do wish I could find a place like Imo's Pizza in St Louis... yum!

I will second both Moretti's and Tony's of Fountain Inn & Simpsonville. Anthony's on Fairview Road in Simpsonville (next to Publix) is good as well.

I'll definitely have to try that place soon. Thanks for the tip! I hadn't heard of it before your post.

P.S. - A quick internet search didn't produce a website, but several links to other sites with information are available.

*note!* Tony's in Simpsonville is NOT the same as Tony's NY Pizzeria off Haywood!

I stopped in the Simpsonville/Bloom one Saturday, and the vibe was all off, asked the girl if they were the same "Tony's" and she said no...turned around and hopped in my car headed to Haywood. Life is too short to settle on pizza. :-) Tony's NY Pizzeria off Haywood is great. Another great pizza, and a great glass of wine to drink while I waited. Life is good.

Apparently there's a chance a California Pizza Kitchen will be going in at the new Magnolia Park Town Center on Woodruff (site of old Greenville Mall).

But you didn't even try it before you rated it. Thats not fair to anyone. I've not tried it yet; my family is not big on pizza, but I will try it someday.

There is a new place opening April 7th in Mauldin on East Butler Road by Family Video. The menu mentions "thin and crispy crust". Sounds like my kind of place and they deliver too! It's called Hungry ____(something). I believe they also sell by the slice which will be a plus for me.

I go there all the time; you'd think I'd remember; old age! Yes, that maybe it. Is it a chain?

I see you're in Simpsonville and I believe I ate at Hungry Howie's once or twice in Simpsonville. I thought it was good but I might be thinking of somewhere else.
