Hi - any planned communities in TR? Are restaurants dog friendly? Housing areas with water views? Thanks!

You don't see a lot of dogs in restaurants here unless of course it's a service animal. There may be some with outside patios that would allow them.

Yes, outside on patios is what we're used to. Thx!

Planned communities - No.
Dog friendly restaurants - I'm sure dogs are fine outside at Shortfields and probably Sidewall. Maybe upstairs at Whistle Stop, not sure.
Only if you stretch the definition of TR to Saluda Lake. I count anything south of Furman, certainly south of Farrs Bridge RD, as Berea.

There are several planned communities in Travelers Rest. Of course, the Cliffs Communities are the biggest, and most expensive. Another one is Carilion. Another is Green Valley.
