Just wondered if anyone could recommend a good BBQ place that has delicious, sweet corn bread and corn pudding? I also like BBQ baked beans and any other cool suggestions you have for side items.

Thanks!

Mutts BBQ in Mauldin and Greer is pretty good.. Not sure about their corn bread or pudding, but they do this sweet potato "crunch" thing that is insanely good. Baked beans, macaroni, hush-puppies and everything else is great too.

You trying to start a fight??

As far as Mutt's goes I don't think they have corn bread do they? I do like it's a all you can eat buffet though!

K&w cafeteria has cornbread and so does cracker barrel. Lots of BBQ places around. Corn pudding never seen that or eat it around here. Might have to gasp make it yourself!

Thanks! I will check that out. The place that has corn bread pudding was Golden Corral and it was pretty good.

I don't think I have seen any places around here with corn pudding. Your best bet would probably be a meat and three place, especially if they rotate sides. I generally find that if a meat and three has BBQ its generally pretty underwhelming, always best to stick a true BBQ place for BBQ. For sweet cornbread, the corn muffins at Publix are pretty good, but nothing beats still warm corn bread. Perhaps you could hit 2 or 3 places for takeout and build your own meal.

If you are ever down in Savannah there is place called Sweet Potatoes. Basically a meat & three with an eclectic vibe to it. They have peach glazed BBQ chicken and corn pudding, both are very good. No corn bread though, you'll have to settle for scratch made biscuits.

Also give Sticky Fingers a try... For a chain, it's pretty damn good too.

Ill second Mutts and there sweet "tater" crunch, but I prefer the Greer location over the Mauldin, but its still good at both.

Henry's Smokehouse on Wade Hampton and the Smoking Pig in Clemson have the best BBQ in the area IMO. No corn pudding at either that I know of but Smoking Pig does have cornbread.
