Those are brand new apartments, so I really can't help with first-hand information, personally. I can say that it is a better part of Woodruff Road to live on if you want less daily traffic. There is a new (relocated) school closeby, but it isn't really a problem to consider. The apartments are quite centrally located and there is a new 24-hour Super BI-LO just up Verdae Boulevard at Laurens Road.

It's also less than a mile from Costco, Target, and soon to be: Magnolia Park, Greenville, South Carolina which will include Cheesecake Factory, Apple, REI, Z Gallerie, Trader Joes, etc.

I can't think of any major concerns around there. (Disclaimer: I have no first hand knowledge about life at these apartments) It is kind of strange in that you're centrally located, yet you still have "room to breathe" because a fair amount of land around you has yet to be developed. The growth of Verdae will eventually change that, just as the area around Haywood Mall is slowly developing toward Woodruff Road. The best thing about that location is that it is a short drive to virtually everything you will want or need, including the 24-hour Steak 'n' Shake.

I looked at them, and they are nice, but I think they are a little overpriced for what you get. To me it's kind of weird that there are no balconies or porches or anything, but if that doesn't bother you at all, it's a good area. Trafficky (yes I made that word up) for sure, but centrally located to any store you'd need. I think Palmetto Place looks great for the money, personally

I don't think the traffic on this section of Woodruff Road is bad. If you are planning on communing from Greenville to Anderson, you will probably be traveling on I-85 which will be where you experience traffic problems during the morning and evening commute. I-85 can be quite a nightmare at times!!

Thanks for all the feedback. I will check out this one next Saturday. One friend also referred McBee Station in downtown. Are they done with the construction?
