I am looking at purchasing a home on Suncrest Ct. but am worried that I am not getting the true picture of whether the internet service is fiber optics or just DSL. I work from home and my family likes to stream videos, so DSL isn't an option.
Relator and builder state it has ATT Uverse or Fiber optics, but ATT online doesn't show it. Anyone on this form live on that street or know of someone that does that can help solve the mystery before I go thru the process of buying the house?

Thanks.

From looking at the available ATT services for addresses on that street and the street connected, it looks as if all that is available is 5-6mb DSL. I checked Charter's website and they do not provide service there. Just from my understanding of ATT Uverse as well, I doubt they would have added Uverse service in that area.

My area has DSL. Att claims one day FO will be put in. Waiting 7 years, and I'm right off 29! The ATT service last few months has been worse than ever!

Good luck!

ATT fiber was installed in my neighborhood in Duncan several months ago but it's not on their fiber "map" still. When I first moved in several years ago either ATT (for DSL) or Charter (can't remember who it was now) I asked to be hooked up and they said they didn't service my address...I told them the box was right outside in my front yard and they had to send someone to confirm before I could get connected. So unfortunately you may just need to drive down that street and read which boxes near the edge of street are for. I'm sure they change from time to time but our Charter and ATT DSL boxes are similar geeenish ones about 3ft tall 8in square or about 12in tall x 1.5ft wide x 1 ft deep (give or take), and the fiber boxes were flush with ground level with a green top. ATT only really started putting in fiber more widespread across this area the other year...I'm surprised our neighborhood got it.
