Moe's has made it official. They have rented billboard space in front of Walmart on 123 that says coming soon. Freddys Frozen Custard & Steakburgers also has a sign by the road.

Is that Panera Bread that is being built across from Longhorn? Any clues as to what else will go beside Starbucks & Freddy's? Would love to see a Kirklands.

I've heard mixed rumors that it will be a doctors office or a Krispy Kreme. Not sure about either one, but a lot of people seem to believe it will be Krispy Kreme, yet I've heard nothing official.

Easley could definitely use doughnuts. Krispy Kreme would be smart to open more locations.

Looks like Long John Silvers/A&W has closed at Town and Country. Signs and equipment being removed today.

Noticed today looks like new Panera will have a drive thru window. Not seen one in the upstate like that.

Long John Silver's/A&W do not have many locations remaining. I do not expect them to be around much longer. I guess Greer, Mauldin and Spartanburg are the only remaining locations.

Panera Bread #601418, 108 East Blackstock Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301-2605 has a drive through.

Maybe Cook Out will take the old Long John Silvers location. I'm not a big fan of their food but I know the college age and under crowd love them. I have been hearing for a while they were interested in opening in Easley but who knows.

Long John Silver's/A&W seems to be on the decline. Looks like they did better when operated by KFC parent Yum! Brands. Time now for Captain D's to return. They are good. But meanwhile, I hope Freddy's Frozen Custard opens soon, as it appears to be a good concept similar to Culver's. And supposedly they also have plans for a Woodruff Rd. location in Greenville at the old Jack in the Box unless plans have changed. But how about a Popeyes for Easley?
