They have had several apartments cleared out starting in March on Freedom Drive. It's opening in 2013 so I expect they will start clearing out the forest area very soon.

Just visited the Easley Town Center. That is definitely not deserving of being called a Town Center. What a mess. I was not impressed. It did have a lot of parking spaces, with no tree's.

Gaffney has an Olive Garden. It is a matter of time before it gets Red Lobster and Longhorn Steakhouse.

I would have preferred something other than a steak house, but I don't consider Golden Coral a real restaurant either. I would prefer a different type of restaurant.

I agree, I would like to see less run of the mill places going in, while I am still happy about having more/nicer retail/restaurant space in Easley. DYING for Marshalls/TJ maxx to go in, I will drive all over the county for a good bargain and would love to see this in easley

Just spoke with someone involved in a land search with the company that owns the Easley Cinema 8 and he said that they are looking for land and would have a new 12 screen complex open within 2 years in Easley
