That's my point I don't understand why they jacked up the price and then didn't do anything new.

May have been mentioned somewhere but all the holiday lights there are up for auction, bidding ends 2Jan, note the fine print says sales tax applies and there's a 15% buyers premium added to final price.

I hope they still keep the giant lighted star on top of the mountain. It is always nice to see while driving through the area during the holiday season.

The similar display at Greenville-Pickens Speedway seems to have gotten much more popular the last couple of years judging by the nightly traffic jam at the entrance.
