Only two small snow events; definitely did not whet my winter appetite. I would love a Boone type climate, but I love the upstate overall and there is a lot more in a move than just weather.
Most people would disagree with me, I know I just tolerate warm weather much better. To each his own

Actually I think most agree with you, I'm probably the abnormal one here. Most people I know truly don't like the cold. When they were talking about the "beautiful weather" in February, I was all depressed because it wasn't cold snowy. Everybody I work with always talks about how awesome Spring is and I start a Fall countdown on the Vernal Equinox!

Like you, I use to love the winter! Looked forward to it every year for various reasons. I got stuck in the ice storm in 04, for 7 1/2 hours. I have no use for winter now!

In Greenville it is 37 degrees (and feels like 36) according to wunderground.com.

In 2016 it was in the 70s and 80s!

My poor plants are suffering. Everything woke up when it was in the 70s and 80s in February. The blooms all got frozen off of my Magnolia and a bunch of my Hostas had frozen leaves yesterday. The temperature swings are tough on my sinuses as well. Thankfully, it looks like the Bradford Pear blossoms are starting to drop off so I should see some relief from that.
