Spartanburg County Council adopted an inducement resolution at its Monday, 20 November 2017, meeting for an economic development project, Project Bobsled 1. Project Bobsled 1 will involve an investment of $9,000,000 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, and create fifty-four full-time jobs.

Spartanburg County Council's Economic Recruitment and Development Committee was requested to render the first reading of Project Bobsled 1 to an ordinance at its Monday, 18 December 2017, meeting.

Project Bobsled is Grupo Antolin, an automotive supplier. It is expanding its Antolin Spartanburg Assembly facilities at 304 John Martin Road, Spartanburg, South Carolina 29303-6749; 320 John Martin Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303-6749; and 2781 New Cut Road, Spartanburg, South Carolina 29303-6331.
