the catawaba were before the civil war? what does that have to do with anything. they were still there first and the civil war was 150 years ago. you can't ignore one part of history because it doesn't support your argument as well.

I would guess they (or their parents) were transplants or have no pride in where they come from.

That's the way Atlanta is--not really Southern anymore and way too big and busy, with lots of Yankees. They might be nice people but their culture is different--more indifferent and less friendly. |
