Any videos of Greenville or the lakes? (Rock Hill, Patrick: how much, home)

Does anyone happen to have any videos taken around Greenville or the surrounding area? We looked at what was available on You-tube, but there isn't much. Any kind of video would be fine, as long as it shows the area. Thanks!

Here's a video I recorded at The Bohemian, a local restaurant that is connected to a Horizon music store. They have pretty good food and live music often. It's at the corner of Main St and Stone Ave.

This is so cool! I really got the feeling of driving up that road. I liked the one of your band, too. If you feel like making another one, I'd love to just see a random street scene. Maybe shot while walking to the grocery store, or the bank, or something like that. Not Main Street, though--that's what everyone does. I want to see some other places.

It's funny how much you can learn from watching things like this. Last night we were checking out various videos and began watching a St. Paddys day concert in Greenville. The concert was nice but we were really checking out the people and the greenery and the lack of trash/graffiti and how considerate and pleasant the crowd was to each other. Everyone was mellow and having a great time--that's not the way it is everywhere, let me tell you. It really hit home how nice the weather is there when we saw people wearing t-shirts on St. Patrick's Day!

Funny, I never thought about Greenville until my friend got interested in it. Now I'm starting to think about moving here, too. (Not likely, since I'm not made of $$$, but at least I can visit a lot...)

BTW, we will be visiting Greenville in May. Can we catch your band at this restaurant sometime May13-21?

You may have read wrong, but I'm not in the band! I wish I were, though, haha. They are The Avett Brothers (and happen to be my favorite band). If you want to check out their site and tour dates/locations go to their website www.theavettbrothers.com. They're from Concord, NC and tour the country a good bit. I'm getting a bit off track here, but you should really check them out if you ever get the chance. They're amazing live.

Anyways, I'd be glad to make more videos like this! I love driving anyways...and I'm a photography major so my camera's always in hand. I probably won't be able to upload them until saturday or sunday, though.

Oops, sorry to be caught making an assumption!
I've always assumed videos of bands were posted by the band members --nice to know that I was wrong. It's a compliment to them that they have fans handling this.

I just showed your video to Cindy (my friend) and she loved it too. We have a request, if you're open to them.

We really want to see a typical, everyday view of Greenville. So the next time you run a bunch of errands could you mount the camera in the car and let us drive along with you?

We'd love to see a typical grocery store, drugstore, bank, gym, public library--wherever it is that you want to go. Take us to your favorite place to get a burger. Drive down some nearby street that you think has interesting buildings. Swing by a nearby park. Whatever you think is part of an everyday life.

We'd definitely appreciate seeing something more than tourist sites--thanks!

Will do . I'm in school at Winthrop in Rock Hill, but will be heading home tomorrow afternoon. I'll try to have another video up Friday or Saturday.
