The cost of land in Greenville isn't getting *that* much more expensive. It's not a geographically constrained city and there's still plenty of land on which to build. That said, I don't doubt that there will be taller developments in the near future but midrises will most likely continue to predominate.

Elaborate. The city knows when approving these projects whether the infrastructure like sewer can handle it
or not.

High-rise buildings only make financial sense in places where the cost of land is astronomical. I can't imagine a high-rise in Greenville ever being more cost-effective than having two mid-rise buildings next to each other.

Land is getting harder and harder to find in Greenville as it all gets developed, especially in the city limits, which causes land prices to go up.
