Hello! My husband and I are moving from Charleston, SC and are looking for a house in a good school zone. We recently had brunch at Stella's Brasserie and thought Hollingsworth Park was a cute community. We will be expanding our family in the next year and would like to be in a very family friendly area. Can anyone give feedback on what it is like living there, good or bad? HOA dues? Pools close by you can join? Neighborhood events? Any feedback at all will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi Karen! I live there and we love it! Very friendly neighborhood where people genuinely care about their neighbors. We have a committee that organizes a few events per year, including family- friendly movies on the square in the summer. Of course Legacy Park is right here, so you won't have to look for places for the kids to play. You can join the Verdae Y, and use the Caine-Halter Y pool in the summer. There are also various neighborhood pools you can join. I believe our HOA dues are $140 per month, which includes yard maintenance.
