Default Where's a romantic place for dinner in Greenville?

Hubby and I are celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary in a couple of weeks. We can't spend a lot but I hardly ever go to Greenville, even though I like it there. We're coming from Seneca (near Clemson). So we're trying to decide what we'd like to do that day. Any suggestions?

If you can't spend a lot... How about a Picnic! Bring the basics from home,Blanket glasses, basket, salt pepper.... Then Go to Whole foods on Woodruff to pick up some interesting things They have prepared foods plus a hot bar and a salad bar, or maybe a nice brie with a fresh bread, don't forget deserts the cupcakes are wonderful. Then hop on 385 to the falls park , find a secluded spot for a wonderful day!
Happy Anniversary

Depending on your definition of alot...

I like Overlook Grill, which overlooks the River Falls Park. Its kind of small inside, but if its warm enough to eat outside, you can't beat the view. The pricing there is fairly low compared to many of the places around. You could probably make it out of there for under $30 for two.

Soby's and Smoke on the Water would be other choices, but they're a little more expensive. Smoke on the water would push $30 just a bit. Soby's would be even more, but its very nice, and incredible food.

$30 isn't bad. I'd like to go somewhere we've never been, be able to dress it up in sun dress type of thing. The picnic sound fun though.

I've reserved $100 at least, try to not make it too cramped of an Anniversary lol.

One word. Devereaux's. I wanted to mention it earlier, but wasn't sure if that would be too pricey. You'd feel "in place" there dressed up. Definitely not black tie required, but if you go there on a night when there's something at the Peace Center, you'd see folks there in formal wear. The kind of place that has more than one fork. Its definitely pricey, but really great food.

They have menus online, and list their entree pricing from $19-$38.

If you like sharing food, sharing stories and taking your time with your meal while having a bottle of wine, you'll like The Lazy Goat. We love it. You will not be rushed, and can spend the whole evening there simply on the "Graze and Nibble" menu. It may be slightly informal for an anniversary night, but it is a really nice place with a romantic feel.

My second choice would be Restaurant O. I come from a big city and we enjoy the more "cosmopolitan" type places, I guess.

If you have $100 or so to spend on dinner then Look at Chophouse '47
Great food, great service, The meal is al la carte and the servings are for two or more. So order 1 steak and sides to split. The Atmosfear is Great! And service is excellent. It will be a much more memorable evening that O. We went there one time and it was completely forgettable meal especially for the price, but the decor was nice.
