Default How bad is the commute from Spartanburg to Greenville?

On a good traffic day, about how long do you think it would take? Mapquest says 30 min, does that sound right?

Thanks!

You would really need to be more specific.

How much more specific do I need to be?

I'm not being sarcastic, I just thought I already was being pretty specific.

30 minutes is a good average between the two, but it seriously depends on where you are coming from, where you are going, and specifically what time of day.

Figure from I-26 and I-85 to Greenville is about 30 minutes in normal traffic. Any amount past that will add time.

Do you just what to know the expressway time or for the total trip? The sun will be in your eyes most of the way both ways if you are leaving Greenville in the mornings and coming back in the evenings. The traffic usually thins out once you pass Pelham so it should be about 20-30 minutes of expressway time.

Default Time of Day

Really an important factor in determining how long it will take to travel between the two. If you're heading south on 85 in the morning, traffic will often slow to an absolute crawl between Highway 14 (Exit 56) and 385 (Exit 51). However, if you travel through there a bit earlier or later, you may get through at a speed limit pace.
