That was an odd route and only a tiny taste/portion of downtown, but thanks for posting this video anyway. There is much more to see and do than that, and at least everyone can see that downtown Greenville is made for parking and walking, not driving.

You know me... a HUGE supporter of our vibrant and pedestrian-friendly downtown area, and not so much of the sprawling outer suburban areas. At least I tried to be gentle though.
lol yeah Gentle like a rattle snake lol Jk But you can go on youtube and people show the same 2 streets over and over. I just thought it would be better to show a diffirent street. Like if people come to visit they are not just going to be stuck in one area with out seeeing other streets. As nice as that one little area is there is other places in down town. And you can see some nice churches and other buildings in the video. Not like I took them to Pendelton street or nothing lol
I think those videos were great. It is nice to see some of the areas surrounding the "downtown core".
It looks like a very nice, clean city. It's nice to have a charming downtown but if the areas leading up to the charming area are grimey and run down it doesn't have a good feel. Greenville looks like it has an overall nice feel. I'm sure there are areas of the city you would rather stay away from but EVERY city in the States and Canada has those parts of town.
Overall, I'm very impressed!
Greenville looks modern with upscale shopping and dining districts.......but also has that wonderful Southern Charm and "quaint" appeal. (like the downtown core)

Thanks for the videos of the area. I am writing from Australia. My husband and I are are thinkingof moving to the area, as he is american and his family live in simpsonville. It's hard to get an idea of the place by only readinginformation and looking at real estate listings, so your videos have been helpful. Just wondering, did you grow up in greenville?

I moved here when I was 12yrs old. My father had been layed off from his job in upstate NY. And we had family here so this is where we moved. You have a long trip a head of you then, coming all the way from Australia thats cool. I'm sure you will like it here but then again Im sure it is going to be a big change from where you are from.
