We are closing on our house in Simpsonville in 2 weeks and have sent my resume to 2 hospitals, but was wondering if anyone can offer advice for area hospitals?

I can't answer her question by personal experience, but my girlfriend is going to school for surgical tech. She has completed clinicals at just about every hospital in the upstate. She is now an intern at St.Francis downtown and this location is her favorite. She listed location, personnel, co-workers, atmosphere, bosses, facilities, etc. as reasons that this hospital is her favorite.

Not sure how long of a commute it would be from Simpsonville, but they are building the new Allen Bennett Memorial Hospital in Greer, to be completed in August of 2008... though I think it will have a different name. The only others I have looked at are GHS and St. Francis.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply. I have looked at a new hospital opening this fall called the Villages at Pellham, I believe-could this be the same hospital as Allen Bennett>
