We just moved to Greenville from Boston, my husband went to Greenville Toyota to buy a new corolla, got a great deal and they were very nice.
Most dealerships are VERY friendly on the new car sales end. Have you taken your car there for service yet?
In terms of buying a new car, I'd always go with the dealership with the lowest price, no matter how rude or friendly they are. After all, it's a new car. It's the service department that screwed me over. So I modify my statement, never go to Toyota of Greenville for service. And if anything goes wrong with your Corolla, make the drive to Easley to have the work done there.
I took my car there for service and an intermittent problem of a threat to stall. They couldn't identify the problem and said there were no codes coming up to indicate anything out of whack. My car is trying to stall out and you can't find anything wrong? Right, the first thing they should have checked since the car is over 10 years old was the gas filters but they didn't do that; they put fuel injector cleaner in it and it is getting worse as time goes by.
They wanted over $400 to fix my auto window which the motor is burned out. There is almost nothing to the job but they want $400 to fix it. In my dreams, in my dreams.
Find yourself a good well respected mechanic and keep him. If you want the name of one in Mauldin PM me.
We have not had a positive experience with Ralph Hayes Toyota in regards to their sales department although we haven't had any issues with their service department. The best deals we were able to find with a new car purchase was with Toyota of Greer and handling the transaction through their internet sales department.

I have started using pure gasoline (no ethanol) in my car and the threat to stall is becoming a thing of the past. Beware of the amount of ethanol in your gas; I never had a problem in Chicago (they used less than 5% ethanol) but here some signs indicate up to 10% ethanol is used.
I also found a great mechanic in Mauldin if you want a recommendation.
I know it's a long drive but if you can go to Ralph Hayes Toyota in Anderson. It's a small dealership but they have the best parts and service department in the area. I've been dealing with them for the past 10 years and have had great service. Plus they sponsor a Land Cruiser club I'm part of.
