I have some friends in Charlotte (around Charlotte really, Monroe) and we are looking for a place to meet about halfway. Gaffney looked about right. Does anyone know of places to eat there? I am sure there are chains...but any good local places that arent too rough?

There is a Fatz under the Peachoid - certainly a chain - but I don't know much about Gaffney off the beaten path.

There's a Pete's on Floyd Baker Blvd. in Gaffney. It's just a couple minutes off the highway. As far as I know it's still there.

I really like Fatz and the Outback as well. Good to know as I'm heading that way very soon.
