An indoor Putt-Putt course will be coming to downtown Greenville. It will be located along Camperdown Way across from Riverplace in the green building next to Oysters on the West End. I don't know the opening date but i'm sure it will be before the end of the year.
Honestly I do not see this lasting more than 3 to 5 years. Once the newness and wow factor wears off then the business will likely drop. Greenville is blessed to have a great mild climate in the winter so most people will play miniature golf outside. We used to have an indoor miniature golf place years ago that lasted about 5 years and disappeared. I know I personally would not want to play putt putt inside. I think it would behoove downtown more if a multilevel laser tag or Dave and Busters type place opened downtown. Now if Greenville was covered in 2 or 3 feet of snow from December until March like Michigan or if it rained 29 out of 31 days a month like in Seattle then I could see an indoor putt putt golf concept working here.
I've been to this place this many times: zero
I plan to go this many times: zero
Every place that has closed downtown including Paris Cafe, i've gone to this many times: zero
See a pattern here?
