Thanks rlbarth! The whole area seems so nice. We don't have a boat yet but still love to fish. (The kids do, I enjoy the chance to just chill awhile
. I read in another thread that there is no swimming allowed on Lake Robinson as it is a water source. I'm assuming thats the same for Cunningham? If so, do any of the lakes, rivers, creeks allow swimming? |

Can someone give me directions to Lake Cunningham from Wade Hampton? I know how to get to Lake Robinson but haven't figured out how to get to Lake Cunningham yet.

From Wade Hampton to Lake Cunningham . . .
Go North on Highway 101 about 4 miles. Just past the small fire station, turn right. (I believe there's a light there now) The lake is about 1/2 mile on the right. |

There's Lake Bowan in Spartanburg. It's in the Boiling Springs/Inman/Landrum area.

There is also Apalache Lake just north of Wade Hampton in Greer. I recently saw a sign on the fence in front of the old mill there that said Lofts on the Lake coming soon and there were workers out there. It looked to be right on the lake which would be nice.

Broadway Lake , just outside the city limits is a great place without being huge is still a few hundred acres of lake with good fishing , while not over run by big boats , etc . A few houses & lots for sale with lots of wildlife at less than half the price of living on the big lakes with all the congestion , while still close to everything .
