Thanks so much for the info Charz

We went to Furman last night and it was great. The cannons were amazing and the setting was just beautiful. We would never have known about this if not for your posting.

Thanks again

More than 100,000 people are expected to be enjoying Downtown Greenville this evening. That will be one mammoth outdoor gathering/festival/celebration for an Independence Day anniversary.

Anyone who is planning to be there, please take your camera and post photos of the crowds. Thanks! Regretfully, I will not be in attendance this year.

were they longer than 15 minutes? that didn't seem like much of a show in downtown, I was kinda disappointed, for all the people there you would think they could make it more of an event.

Yeah I could see the fireworks from Greenville im thinking that is where they were coming from in the background from the church. They had finish and ours were still going. It was about 20-25 mins long if not longer.

You're welcome. I graduated from Furman and it's one of my favorite places to go when I visit my family. The concerts will continue throughout the summer, just without the cannons.
