Dredging Project
this link will take you to the latest news that I know of, the article in the paper about Easley Combined helping to fund the huge project, sounds like they still haven't found a place to unload the stuff or given a date when this will begin

Tom,
Easley Combined Utilities is still in the process of designing the project and identifying possible disposal sites. No sites have been acquired. The project is moving forward.

Just checking on the Saluda dredging project. Do have any news that I can post to the City Data forum? Or if you prefer, you could post directly. I am trying to keep this current to reduce the rumors, speculation and bad information.
Still in process of finding a suitable disposal site. Once a site is found final design will begin and hopefully dredging will begin soon after.

The public boat ramp, located next to the water treatment plant, is being built! From what I understand it is being built to DNR specs. and will have 25 - 30 parking spaces. This is required for the lake dredging project. The dredging project project looks to be moving forward...
