UGH! How long is it going to be like that down there? I drove that way last week and cannot imagine what it's like with school and work traffic.

I wish they'd get that project finished already, I was pacing the train through town the other day and it got away while I was waiting on the construction guys to clear out of the way.
I found an alternate route though, a few blocks to the West is N. Maple Street, which is much quicker. No traffic, no lights, just an empty road.

Why not just use I-385 if you're in a hurry and depending on your destination.

That is what I am talking about--
Thanks for the visual to help put a picture in people's minds over my rant with the changes to main street.
I am sure it will be better, I cannot see it now so will hold back on further comments until it is done(was supposed to be done by Memorial day ) and we see the net effects of the traffic pattern changes.

They should do this to every single four lane road in the upstate not including the interstate. Yes, that includes Woodruff Road too. It's fun listening to all of the transplants complain though.
