Anyone know what the status is of this? I know the tracks have been replaced between Haywood and Woodruff Rd. and a bridge has been started but not completed crossing Woodruff Rd. We had a chance to ride the one in Charlotte today and this would work wonders in Greenville! ICAR to downtown would be a great way to start the first line. The train was very smooth and pleasant.
Right now the city is focused on fixing the bus system first. Once that happens then you can expect to hear more on the plans for a BRT line from downtown to ICAR.
Well, whats going on with the bus system right now? They seem cleaner, but they don't go far enough. They need to come out here to the Golden Strip or build a park and ride that I've also seen in Charlotte. We can't barely be touched when it comes to downtown on ground level, but we need other ways besides driving in from the suburbs and fighting parking. I just wish they would give updates on where they are.

Wow, Greenville is fairly small right? This is great foresight though.
