Looking for a vet (Greenville, Greer: live, food, horse)

Can anyone recommend a vet in Simpsonville or Greer?

Our vet is on Mauldin, not too far from Simpsonville. Oasis Animal Clinic off Butler just past Main. They are wonderful, and Dr. Brandt is very kind. The staff has always been very good to us. We have an almost 14 year old cocker spaniel, and I still don't hesitate to board her there.

We have been very happy so far with Cleveland Park East on NE Main in Simpsonville. Our dog was born with a very serious (and incurable) liver disease and she requires a lot of medical attention. The vets at CPE are competent, caring, and more than willing to seek outside consultations for complicated cases.

The reception area and exam rooms are spotlessly clean and very modern, and they stock every medication and prescription food we've needed. It's kind of out of the way for us, but they came highly recommended, and we have no complaints yet.

I don't know how their fees compare to those elsewhere in the Greenville area, but exam fees are about half of what they were in NY.

I just moved here and haven't gone to a vet yet. However, several of my local horsey friends (horse people always have dogs, too) recommended Cleveland Park Animal Hospital in downtown Greenville. Dr Ben Phillips and Shannon Hait were specifically recommended. Dr Phillips' son Bryant and his wife Kelly operate the CPAH in Travelers Rest and are said to be very good, too. Also, Drs. Debbie and Eric McCurry at Heartland in Boiling Springs.

Great with dogs and easy to get to off Woodruff( right off woodruff going south) at Hwy14 and Hosp is about 1.5 miles down on left.

And if closer to Eastside of Greenville, the Haywood Rd Animal Hosp has treated my sis's 2 dogs and cats and she loves this vet. Do not have personal contact with them, just her referral.

I would say Cleveland Park in Simpsonville. I take my dogs there for anything major. And for ever day visits likes shots I take them too DR verdin on maple ST in Simpsonville
