Public Computer access
I'll be heading down to Greenville in about a week and a half to do some house hunting. I don't have a laptop so I'll need to find a place where i can access my email (and keep up with this forum) while I'm down there. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'll be staying in the Greer area.

Most hotels (if not all) have free internet access. Also downtown Greenville has free wifi.
edit: Oops sorry I was reading too fast (I see now that you don't have a laptop)... Try a library.

Not in Greer, but the Drury on Woodruff has a computer near the front lobby you can use for free. Most hotels these days do. We liked the Drury, free happy hour can be a good thing Good Luck and Have Fun

The library would be a good place. It's at 25 Heritage Green Plaza, near College St and Buncombe St.

Greenville Library System has computer access
Hi
When we moved here, prior to setup of my home office, I used the Greenville library system. Now, unless you plan to join the library and get a card( need addressed bill or proof of residence and phone number) you can walk in and use the library computers for a small fee. I believe in my hometown(Simpsonville) in our library there is a walkup computer which allows free access for 15 min for those who do not have a library system pass setup. People at front desk can help you out but 15 min(no reservations) on the one computer(standup- no seats) should allow you ability to check emails and do some internet searches.
If I find anymore out I will post it here

And I just realized you were staying in the Greer area, so ignore my post! The other branches that roadpony posted will be closer.

Thanks to everyone for all the tips. I don't travel much so I'm not used to them being in hotels. I'm getting so excited!
