Try waste connexion. We had the same problem with getting service in our area. They are out a Simpsonville. A small local company. Still only $50/ quarter for pick up once a week. Also , the owners father told me something about a small amount they give back to our HOA. A cool liitle perk!
Anyway, had them for 3 months with no issues. Hope this helps.

Easiest way is to see who your neighbors use, then call them. Telephone numbers are often on the bins or...forbid the phone book ;-) Seems with the internet we've all forgotten about the phone book as a great source to find local businesses. FYI Waste Management is the big one and probably available in your area.

Default Various Trash Services

all u have to do to find a trash service is go to the dump on Hipps Rd (off of Harrison Bridge Rd in Simpsonville) and as u enter, on the right side of the drive is a sign with 10 to 15 different companies, and their phone numbers, who offer various types of pick-up services...AND you can go ahead and take your trash while your there

Default Garbage pick up

Either this information is hard to come by, or my "search skills" have been trashed.

Anyway, as of yesterday, my wife and I own a new home in Fountain Inn (not to far from the stores on Fairview Rd. in Simpsonville) and we need to arrange for garbage pick-up. Can someone please clue us in on how this works around here and what choices we have?

Back in San Jose, CA, the city automatically billed the homeowner for garbage and recycling. This was mandatory with no choice about the trash hauler. Over the years, fee increases outpaced inflation to the point that, when we sold our home last December, the cost had risen to about $40 per month with more increases planned. As a matter of fact, our mayor was indicted on bribery charges because he went behind the city council's back to sign the contract with the sanitation company. Charges were later dismissed, but it was a pretty big black eye for the mayor and the city.

Thanks!!!
