32 - Single Christian guy considering Greenville
I'm a conservative Christian guy considering moving to Greenville in the near future. Coming from Seattle I'm looking for more sun, more conservatives, lower cost of living, friendlier folks, Christian women, etc. I'm originally from Idaho, so Seattle has been quite a shock for me.
Could someone please provide their input as to whether this could be a good move as it relates to the above criteria? And what are the prospects for single, Christian women 25-35?
I'm also considering Nashville, Charlotte, Dallas, and Denver so if you have any comments about those areas, please feel free to share!
Thanks in advance!

You will do fine.
I find it interesting that the small group of liberals on here does not reply to your post (after 30 views) but if someone had a title that read "Would a gay man be accepted in Greenville?" they would jump all over that thread and practically claim that Greenville is a San Fransisco. But because we already have a lot of conservative Christians here in Greenville they don't reply.

Conservative? Bob Jones has a university here. Sunshine? We're in a severe drought. We have more sunshine than Florida it seems like. Lower cost of living? I can't find a cheaper place to live. Friendlier folks? Well, the quality of life here is very high from that. Christian women? They are HOT. Go downtown any Friday or Saturday night and look around. It's amazing.

Just make sure you're as friendly if not friendlier than the people already here.

Hi clintsmyth!
I believe you will certainly find virtually everything you may be searching for in Greenville. Most of our local churches have active singles groups that gather for fellowship regularly, so I imagine that you would easily be in good company as a conservative Christian yourself. Definitely come for a visit and check the area out sometime. Do you have any preferences regarding group activities?
To guestposter24: Before jumping to a conclusion without merit, may I simply suggest that you take a look at how the majority of threads requesting information usually gain many more views than replies - regardless of the nature, belief, or personal preference of the inquiring individual. There could be any number of reasons why this is the case, but without knowledge of each reader's mind, it is hardly justifiable to make an accusatory assumption of any kind. For your information, I was not able to reply until now, but that had nothing to do with clintsmyth's belief.

That's because Liberals, such as myself, are too busy fornicating and listening to Slayer on the weekends to get online.
Some how, I think clintsmyth will do just fine.

Thanks to everyone for the feeback! Any specific recommendations on non-charismatic churches that have a decent-sized young professional or post-college group?
Also, I work in Finance and would be looking for a job. My background is in Treasury and Cash management. So if anyone hears of an openeing in Finance or Treasury I would be grateful if you could pass along the info. privately.
Thanks again!
Clint
