Goes along with the GO Center to be built in downtown Greenville.
The Blue Wall Centre is a highly-sustainable, activity and discovery-based destination that will place visitors in direct contact with the natural environment of the mountainous Upstate region. Only 30 minutes away from Downtown Greenville, the Blue Wall Escarpment is recognized as one of the world’s most significant ecosystems, with more than 400 species of rare plants and more individual tree species than currently present in all of Europe.
State parks, wilderness areas, wild and scenic rivers, a national forest and two federallydesignated scenic areas are located in near proximity to the site. The property contemplated by the Owner for development of the Blue Wall Centre is located at Old Camp Spearhead on Highway 11 near Highway 276.
The estimated cost to deliver phase one of the Blue Wall Centre is $18 million.
