Birmingham's and Greenville's metros are the same size, but why is Birmingham getting a Nordstrom soon and Greenville isn't? Why does Huntsville have more high-end selections than Greenville (example: Juicy Couture)?

Birmingham is bigger than Greenville in my opinion. I would put Birmingham in line with Nashville and Memphis. I would compare Greenville with more Huntsville and Columbia. Huntsville does seem to have some nice retailers/restaurants thanks to Bridge Street. Hopefully, we'll have the same once Magnolia Park gets built.

It would make them like Haywood better. Asheville Mall looks awful. It has very ugly carpeting and cheap tiles on the stairs. I guess its because CBL owns it. Haywood is much better. It is like my #3. #1-Lenox Square 2-SouthPark 3-Haywood

I'm going to Lenox Square for the first time ever on Friday. I've never been to Southpark. However, I have been to Westfield in San Francisco. That was the biggest and nicest mall i've ever seen. Oh and i've been to the Georgia Mall too. I went to both last year.

I love Lenox. I just went for the third time last weekend. Make sure you also go to the Cheesecake Factory in Buckhead at 3024 Peachtree. It is awesome! I wish I could go there every week! I am hopefully going back in July. It is better than the Mall of Georgia. MOG is just a large regular mall...nothing special. I have never been to the Westfield in SF. Where is BCBG? Maybe it is coming soon. I hope it is not a mistake. The Macy's at Lenox Square is very nice. It is a flagship. I still like the Belk Flagship at SouthPark better. Macy's Lenox is almost triple the size of Macy's Haywood.

I think BCBG is in Dillard's. They have a store set up there. The Macy's at Lenox and CCF in Buckhead sound nice, but the Macy's in San Francisco is eight stories tall and has a CCF on top of it. I ate at it. It was awesome. Oh and i'm staying in Buckhead when I go to Atlanta tomorrow so I plan on going to CCF, Atlantic Station, Lenox, and Phipps.

Augusta mall has a outdoor lifestyle center attached to a enclosed mall. Its nicer and looks better than Haywood in Greenville and Columbiana in Columbia. Augusta mall also has a larger selection of semi upscale store's. Apple, PF Changs, Chop House, Sephora, Buckle, Hollister, Aerie, Aldo, Coach, J.Jill, Coldwater Creek etc.

Oh dear. Here we go again. Head meet brick wall. Most of the stores/restaurants you listed Greenville also has. Let me know when Augusta gets Whole Foods Market, Pottery Barn, J. Crew, Bare Escentuals, Guess, BCBG, Ruth's Chris, Chipotle, etc. We've had PF Changs, Buckle, Hollister, Aerie, Aldo, Coach, and Coldwater Creek for years now. We recently got J. Jill. We're getting Apple in late 2009/early 2010. Next.

Lets be fair you have to admit Augusta mall. Does look better than Haywood and Columbiana. Augusta mall is unique because of the outdoor village.

Let me know when Greenville gets Imax, Sephora etc.
