Sephora is going to Magnolia Park when the economy improves. They probably would go to Haywood Mall if they could but there is no room there currently for them. Just because Augusta Mall has an outdoor village does not mean it is better than Haywood or Columbiana Malls. I'm glad those malls don't have outdoor villages. They suck to walk around in during winter time or a thunderstorm. A mall is supposed to be a mall not a lifestyle center.

Lenox Square is nice and very upscale, when I went there I met a rapper by the name of young jeezy...I mean look how us Americans have gotten, we think that having these exspensive stores makes us bigger and better than other cities, when I was in Lenox Square I went to this starbucks across from BVLGAI and it only had window shoppers, and no actual customers!!! I like to have those stores because of there class or maybe because they are very known but if people can't afford them then why would we need them. Like Apple going to haywood mall is great but iplace is in Greenville too so that can cause a offset for iPlace!!! G-man so if a developer proposed a lifestyle village outside of haywood mall you wouldn't be happy??? Yes you would be just like me and, I would bragg it in other cities faces, so give these other cities a break everyone!!!

Note I believe iPlace moved because they know apple would be kind of close to it's former location!!!

I would like for sears to close up so that it's space could be used for a nordstroms (it doesn't have to be 2 levels)!!! They can split the 1st level up for more stores (so maybe a much desired upscale wing) and the 2nd level can be nordstroms!!!

If an expansion were done at Haywood Mall, i'd rather see it be an indoor expansion and not a lifestyle center addition. There's many lifestyle centers proposed for this area from Magnolia Park to Dillard Creek to Crescent Place.

You will like Lenox Square. It has plenty of really nice upscale stores. Plus, you can go to California Pizza Kitchen while you are there. One cool thing to do is stay at J.W. Marriott and walk to Lenox Square without even going outside.

In another post you mentioned going to some restaurants in Buckhead. I can recommend Maggiano's Little Italy (just down the road from Lenox) as well as Houston's (across the street from Lenox near the Marta station). Both are great, and something you can't get at home.

Have fun!

I'm going to California Pizza Kitchen at Atlantic Station. I'll try and go to Maggiano's. I've always wanted to try it.

You will love Maggiano's. It's on Peachtree Street nearly across from Lenox Square.

Let me know when Greenville gets Imax, Sephora etc.
To be fair G-man named seven businesses in Greenville that Augusta doesn't have. You named two that Greenville is scheduled to get already. Greenville also has two Costcos within a 30 miles, a 16,000 seat Arena, The Children's Museum, Quaker Steak and Lube, should I continue? The score is uneven so far.

I wasn't trying to do a Greenville vs Augusta. In the GA forum there is a long thread on Augusta vs Savannah. Im sure you guys have a long thread on Columbia vs Greenville. I was only pointing out in my opinion. How the three malls look to me. Greenville has businesses that Augusta doesn't have. Augusta has Jared galleria of jewelry, Imax, Sephora, Silvina, Apple, Know Style, Strasburg children, 5.7.9, etc that Greenville doesn't have.

I don't see any of this as a bad thing. So a particular business isn't here in Greenville. That gives an excuse for a road trip! <G>
