Augusta has Jared galleria of jewelry, Imax, Sephora, Silvina, Apple, Know Style, Strasburg children, 5.7.9, etc that Greenville doesn't have.
Most of these I've never even heard of. Augusta just doesn't compete with Greenville when it comes to this type of stuff, and I think you even know it. Your're just trying to make yourself feel better, which is fine.

BCBG has a "section" set up inside Dillard's. It's not a true "store", even though the employees that work there, work for BCBG and not Dillard's.

I think you mean Augusta doesn't compete when it's stores you've never heard of...

So do you believe Augusta has more amenities? It sounds like you are in disagreement.

It depends on your definition of "amenities". Not everyone likes the same thing. I feel that Haywood Mall lacks the amenities I look for, but it may work for someone else. Just because you haven't heard of a store doesn't make an area better or worse than another.

Again, this is your opinion. To paraphrase George Carlin "when it's your sh%t, it's stuff. When it's someone else's stuff, it's sh%t"

I've never shopped in Augusta (which is why I didn't comment on it specifically because I have no knowledge of it). We do our mall shopping in Atlanta or Charlotte, however, I prefer Chicago over GVL, ATL, and Charlotte because it has the "stuff" I am looking for.

I thought you wanted upscale stores. Then why would you like Hamilton better? Haywood's Upscale Stores: Abercrombie & Fitch, J. Crew, Apple (Coming Soon), Pottery Barn, Coldwater Creek, Williams-Sonoma, and more. Hamilton Place has like one or two of these. The rest are not as upscale and are in Greenville also at Shoppes @ Greenridge. Haywood is more upscale and better than Hamilton. Why would you move somewhere you keep criticizing the shopping options?
