I'm sorry. I'll just join the C.J. here with everyone else and keep my opinions (and facts) to themselves.

Hmm, its seems if as you are not happy with the south not just Greenville. Why not just move back to the big, cold city? I wouldn't live somewhere I hated. Just for the record, there are many from Chicago that love Greenville! One I wish would go back, not saying its you.

Look out everyone, the train from witty town if coming down the tracks...

So it's ok to bash another city (Augusta) but it's not ok to express an opinion about Greenville that differs from yours? I don't disagree with you that there are people here from big cities that are happy, to each their own. I also have no problem with the South (my wife is from Nashville). This has nothing to do with this discussion, but feel free to throw it in there anyway.

Here's just one example of a bad experience I had at Haywood Mall. Last fall (August/September), I wanted a pair of Dr Martin black boots. I looked on DM's website and it lists a couple of places in Haywood Mall that have them. So we go and look. Nothing. Not one men's DM to be found in any of the stores (you may think, "Well, Journey's have them". Well, they didn't this time). I had to go all the way to Atlanta just to get something as simple as a pair of boots.

Around the same time, my wife was looking for a specific BCBG dress. We went to the BCBG "store" in Dillard's, but couldn't find it (which isn't all that uncommon). Even the woman that worked there said something to the effect that "Greenville doesn't get anything good" (referring to BCBG dress selection).

So what's the problem with saying that Haywood Mall doesn't have everything for everyone? If I want to get something from Burberry, should I just pretend that Haywood has it and be happy, or, better yet, settle for some God awful Tommy Bahama or Polo get up? No. I'm going to drive to Charlotte and get it. What's the big deal? If you all weren't so defensive about someone that disagrees with you, you might learn something.

P.S. you misspelled "it's"

Don't forget COACH!!! Everyone is entitled to there 1st Amendment (freedom of speech), so if someone says Greenville is better than Augusta then let them say it, it's just a opinion or if someone says Augusta is better then Greenville then again let them say it, it's just a opinion!!!

There is always different places you could go that are better or worst than Haywood mall..

Didn't realize you were a grammer teacher "big city". All I'm simply saying is, if I don't like a place I make a move. Why should you be any different? I didn't misspell, I just didn't pay it any attention. Its kind of tough if you're typing on a smart phone. I guess that was supposed to be a personal attack, but its all good. You said nothing about the poster who started the debate. Which was an Augusta supporter. Thats all good too though.

And yet you didn't address the specific examples I mentioned in my post...interesting. Would you not agree that people have the right to their own points of view?

And if alluding to wanting me to move isn't a personal attack then...

It isn't. You said you didn't like it here. Complaining won't change it, but moving back to Chicago will.

Please show me where I said that I didn't like it here. I have been commenting on the shopping choices at Haywood mall, not the area in general.

You make me very tired.

Drizzle, You don't have to say you don't like it; your complaining says that. You also defended someone else's city without knowing anything about that city. I do know about it! If you don't like what is posted you are free not to read it. No one is forcing you to be tired. Don't post if your tired!
