I volunteered to work at Fall For Greenville this year. Since I wasn't living here when it happened last year, I had no idea what to expect or how busy we'd be at our ticket booth. My section was selling wrist bands for those who planned to buy beer, and we got a little assembly line going with me checking IDs, the next person taking cash and our two helpers at the end of the table putting the bands on. I saw a LOT of transplants and visitors. There were IDs from all over the USA, plus some from Canada and a couple who were visiting from France.

It was the most people I've seen since I moved here! I had so much fun doing this and would much rather have been working like I was than out on the street fighting the crowds and standing in line to get tickets and food. (Go figure)

The only bad part of the evening is the $35 parking ticket I found on my windshield. I had parked in a City of Greenville lot but failed to see the line on the sign that read "Permit-only lot." Oops.

I was working at Liquid Highway...we got a lot of drunk people the last couple hours we were open. It was great though, a lot more people know the new location is open now! (at the Hyatt) We have a tent outside and it did really well too.

Yeah, I went to FFG for the first time with a stroller this year. Interesting experience, but not a bad one. Another great showing in downtown Greenville. The picture below was taken at about 6:30 Saturday night.
