Did your grandmother die of lung cancer from smoking, or are you assuming?
Lung cancer is growing in marked numbers among non-smokers. Blaming smoking for health related issues allows true origins of health threats to thrive, at the unsuspecting population's expect.
Any idea what chemicals are in your household insulation? Drapes, fibers of furnature, fire retardant materials, the carpets your babies crawl on, the cleaning sprays and deoderizers?
All those things are not made the same or by manufacturers that give a rats puhtoot about your American life. (Read made in china)
Would you buy food and other durable goods from bin laden?
Probalbly not, but you and your government approve of china made products that have harmed, killed more Americans and pets than bin laden has.
Maybe china and bin laden are silent partners and they other terroristd just a distraction?
Btw theses days cancer is the growing in leading cause of death along with obesity.
Childhood obesity will kill long before smoking health issues will. Their quality of life, their joints, heart health, etc is much lower than a 20 year smoker!
The babyboomers are proof of it.
So is your grandmother!
Believe as you will.

I've been an on again & off again smoker for years. I got a blood clot & everyone blamed it on smoking. Come to find out I have Maye-Turner Syndrome & it is not even vascular. My pulses are great, I have had every inch of my body checked & got a clean bill of health - at 44 years old. I try to be respectful of people in public when it comes to smoking. I spray a light body spray after smoking & stick a piece of gum in my mouth because I hate the smell of it on me. But it is the best nerve pill/ relaxant I have ever had, without side effects such as drowsiness, etc...
On the flip side - I rarely use the microwave because I truly believe using the microwave especially on foods that are processed & have so many additives is what puts the cancer causes in our bodies.
Neither here nor there - something is going to kill us....

I hear you Moonpie.
I am respectful of others including animals in public and my home as far as anything is concerned.
I eat healthy, exercise, and I have vibrant health.
I have a sister, doesn't smoke, isn't obese. She can't breathe well enough to take a stress test. She's a bitter, selfish, suffocating SB *christian and very judgemental toward others.
Awile ago I looked at the sickly family members. They all shared a common thread. They were bitter, angry, mean and judgemental people. Most were sick much of their lives, to be survived by those of us there treated the worst. The sister I spoke of included.
The family members that lived the oldest? Smokers, go figure? One shovled NY snow til she was 79.
Bitterness and hate will put you in an early grave. Obesity is self neglegence and over 70% of this country are obese.
They want smokers to pay for their neglegence? I don't see it working. Even if I quit smoking, they still beat their bodies and health into a much early grave.
Still waiting on call from hospital.

Honest question: Why do you willfully choose to fill your lungs with tar and smoke? Wouldn't it be cheaper and quicker to wrap your mouth around your cars exhaust pipe, while it's running and have someone step on the gas? A quick fix, if you will.

Herself, I hope your sons are ok.
To answer your question, yes her lung cancer was from smoking. She smoked 3-4 packs a day since she was 12 and she was a little over 60 when she past away. She was thin and never was sick. Not even a cold.
And for the other stuff you wrote....I only buy organic which includes cleaning agents and I don't purchase anything made in China. I can assure you I'm the pickiest person when it comes to what comes into my home.

Of course not, that's why it's illegal and there are severe fines. Smoking isn't illegal, yet. Hopefully in my lifetime, however.
