Greetings!
The purpose of this post is to assist in the efforts of like minded women to establish social networking and discover more of what the Greenville social scene has to offer.

I've read the criagslist postings, myspace, and other sources of mature women looking for other than the bar scene to meet like minded women for social genra's to share. I decided to post here to hopefully expand the options that have been discovered so far.
It also allows for private email communication that accomodates us in not informing the closed minded where to protest next.

There are lesbian/gay women looking to share a variety of leisure pursuits such as outdoor sports, healthy living, workout partners, music venues, volunteering, books,parenting,arts etc


Those that wish to discourage us, don't bother, delete key is the first option.

We are looking to pursue life, liberty and happiness, just the same as other oriented women.

I am 40 something, proud parent of children that live in another state.

I enjoy a variety of outdoor interests that include camping, the beach, walking, hiking when I get more appropriate footwear and warmer weather, volleyball, might be up for softball, rock hounding, planning kayaking this year etc.

I am physically fit, enjoy eating healthy, and maintain a healthy positive state of mind. I enjoy a good steak, ice cream from a creamery, good coffee, etc, basically balance is the key, not a fixation.

I read authentic self type books, along with spiritual oriented topics, Astrology, and love music of all types.

Slowly I am discovering resources and local venues for these interests. Sharing them with other women would be great.

Question? Would anyone know of a gay friendly social hangout at Lake Hartwell?
