R there any place n the Spartanburg-Greenville area to get fresh shucked oysters. Ummmm, How I'd love me some. From the Great state of Fl n was easy to find down there n the AppalacheeCola area but seems to be a bit commplicated here.

I haven't yet been there myself so am not sure, but perhaps you could find them at The Great Bay Oyster House restaurant in downtown Greer. I'd call first to make sure before making a trek.

Default oysters

I am not sure about Oysters on the West End in downtown but you could check. I never made it past the sausage dip!

I went there once, I was unimpressed with the oysters, nice restaurant though good atmosphere, they do have oysters on the half shell if you would like a link to their menu pm me, or just google it

the blockhouse - Home

I personally don't eat Oysters, but I have many friends who do, and swear by this place.

Yes, they do serve oysters on the half at the Great Bay Oyster House restaurant in downtown Greer. Great restaurant, they have good food and the atmosphere is wonderful too. I understand the need for some oysters when you get used to sliding them down in FL.

Another good place for oysters is the Blockhouse on Augusta Rd. They also have a full menu- good salads too.
I like to buy a box of Appilachicolas at Key West Connection off Laurens Rd and eat 'em for days!

key west connection is great if you need fresh seafood, the manager there(I want to say his name is bo but i'm not sure thats right) is a nice guy and they have decent prices on anything you want. They have suppliers there that most other vendors in town don't so they get the best stuff
