It doesn't prove they're stupid. It just proves they're not desperate.
Given that the pre-tax difference between working 40 hours @$10 or
staying home, relaxing, hanging out, sleeping late,...doing whatever the heck you want, when you want, @$7 an hour is only $120 a week(gross),
I can see why someone who can get by on the $7 an hour would opt to pass up the $10 job. If I had the option to take a $120(gross) weekly
pay cut and stay home all day and do what I want, I would JUMP at the
chance.

Yeah, but I think the point of the thread was to show that people are SO desperate, that they would be willing to take seasonal employment with the Greenville Drive.
