Gun purchasing and lessons..... (Greenville, Wade Hampton: to buy, high school, prices)

any thoughts on a good place to buy a gun and get some very good lessons on properly handling the weapon?

i have fired a few guns on two different occasions. both in high school. i believe it would be best if i took some lessons with my new purchase.

im not looking for a bazooka. just a good hand gun for a decent price (~$300 bucks or so) with some lessons for my wife and me.

these guys have a good set-up with courses, it is just outside of Downtown Greenville on Poinsett Hwy. :

That is where I would go for training/shooting, etc., they have several weapons there that you can rent, that way you can get a feel for what you want before you buy something.

As far as gun purchases I think the above has fairly reasonable prices, but as with anything else you should shop around. Here are just a few of the places that I frequent:
