Atlanta just got upgraded to a warning. It's starting to fill in now.

I f you look at the latest radar loops, the system itself, mostly to our south in Atl is moving almost due East, with the precip coming to and end fromout NW, meaning we could be out of the precip within a few hours, just about the time accums would start taking place. That would indicate NWS is much closer on this one for our immediate area.

I'm in Simpsonville - pretty much all sleet here (with some rain) - back deck/cars and *some* grassy areas are covered - temp at 35.8 degrees

Just got home after church, lunch at Brick City Grille and a trip to Publix. My umbrella turned inside out while I was trying to wheel my shopping card with one hand, and it had already turned from rain to sleet. It's not looking good, people!

Temps have inched up to 36.1 with alternating sleet and rain here (tons of rain - but we need it) - good luck to everyone this evening with the snow (well, for those who want it )
