Carilion
Anyone know about this development? Heard anything about it good or bad? Is it close to downtown? Thanks.

I've heard good things. Great builders, and it seems like a quality development. It's probably about 15 minutes to downtown, though I can't be sure. Maybe someone from the north side could tell you for sure!

I asked about this once and was told that it doesn't have the best school district.

I'm not sure which schools serve this neighborhood, but you can always apply to a school in the City limits of Greenville for their magnet program. And, of course, if a school is failing, you have the right to move your student to a better performing school.

It is off of Roe Ford Rd. I am not sure if that is a T.R. or Greenville address. It is only a mile or so north of Furman University, near Green Valley Country Club. This is a well done development.

Carilion is being developed by The Randolph Group which developed Verdmont in Simpsonville. Carilion is bigger and a bit more upscale than Verdmont. We toured through a lot of the homes and really liked them and the community layout. I'm sure the Randolph Group would have a web site for Carilion.
Found it - Carilion Community - The Randolph Group
