Default A question about commercial real estate

My dad and I are interested in buying a building in Greer that's been vacant for a few years. We think we can get a good price but we need some estimates and inspections from contractors as it needs a bit of work. My question is, can we do this before we have an actual contract on the property?

Yes you can. Just let the buyer know what you want to do. In this market I have a fell the seller will co-operate. I am very familiar with the Greer commercial real estate market. Don't pay the asking price.

Thanks so much for your kind and thorough response. How would we go about doing this? Should I call the realtor and tell him that I want to get some estimates before i put in a written offer, and do I just open up the yellow pages under contractors and make some calls? Thanks again.
