Two hours? What do you tell the kids? "Look but don't touch. We can only get a taste."
That is not worth the drive and time to park in Greenville.

Default great time at the museum

well after reading all the posts, i was a little hesitant to go, but we went on thursday, 3 1/2 hours later, the kids loved it, were very involved, hands on, they talked and talked about it, it was worth the $$$. i guess its all up to the individual, what are you willing to pay.

Just out of curiosity, how many people were there? Based on a few of the posts in this thread, nobody can afford the tickets in this economy.

Default childrens museum

I asked the kids on their opinion of the wait, they said they didn't notice, they moved freely from station to station, maybe waited 2 kids b4 their turn, the only busy station was the grocery market, the kids loved the kaliescope climber, imagine magic carpets that you walk up and you can see below, and the reedy river, water and pipes, build your own pipe works, kids shared this space, and it was well organized , i would say it was steady with a good crowd, but well managed, people chose alternate stations, rather than line up, the wyff news station is very impressive, the kids do a broadcast and it has costumes and scripts, and you can even purchase your news broadcast, the news is broadcast in the museum. the wind tunnel was fun.

Thanks for the feedback! It sounds like a very well-planned museum, with a variety of neat stations and exhibits for children.

Took my kids to the museum Saturday. All I can say is, outstanding! Worth every penny. We were in there for 4 hours! Glad to have something like this in Greenville.

Just wondering. Have you ever been to the Children's Museum in Columbia or to Discovery Place in Charlotte?

If you are asking me, the answer is yes. My kids liked this one better than both. It's very nice!

Yes, I was asking you. Just forgot to quote. Old age will do that to you.
Thanks for the reply.
