Doesn't this museum open this summer? This is a great addition to Greenville's downtown. I can't wait to take my family there.

In Hendersonville, NC there is a pretty fun interactive place for younger kids called the Hands On Gallery. It's right on Main Street. You could have lunch in the old fashioned soda fountain/drug store across the street.

This will be a great addition to the already vibrant downtown scene in Greenville.

Some of our friends are coming in from Charlotte after The Children's Museum opens almost solely for the purpose of seeing it (aside from obviously seeing us too). I think it's nice that someone from a major metro such as Charlotte, would travel to a smaller metro like Greenville for something like this. We've decided that they should come in September, since I have to assume this place will be PACKED for the first few weeks.
Having a 2.5 year old, I am personally VERY excited for this addition to downtown.
