Default Anderson Area?

I've found a very cute home in Anderson via searches on the net. I know I want to move to SC, but haven't heard of Anderson.

Could anyone tell me anything about it?

The house claims to be in an historic area in Anderson.

Please, anything...

Am in LOVE with the home.

We looked at Anderson before moving to Easley area. It is really nice depending on the areas just like any place. We picked Easley area because anderson was too built up for us. I will be there on Friday if you pm me an address I can look at the area if u would like.

We have family living in Anderson and will be moving there this Summer. We like the area East of US81. If you have teenagers, I hear that the High School - Hanna - is tops. We have visited several times and like its location, close to Atlanta, Charlotte and Columbia. Also close to the mountains but surrounded by lakes. We will be retiring but I think the town is good for raising children also and... Clemson is nearby.

Good luck.

i'm from anderson, it's great, but historic - a street in the wrong direction can be not a good historic. pm the house address or mls # and i'll let you know. i look at the mls listings everyday! well - i quit this week now that we just bought a house! there are a good many threads on this forum about anderson. anderson university will be near anywhere listed as historic. it's a growing town and has any store you need and g'ville is still within 30 minutes if there's a restaurant or a show or something you can't go to in anderson. there's nothing not to like, really! just depends on what you're looking for.
